Look closely ... yes that is the coffee shop! Real Things Pizza began May Long
Weekend of 1997. Allan and Monica Gould (Rockys parents) former owners of the
Naramata Store bought and turned this house into a commercial building. They
sold breakfast whilst Rocky sold pizza. This photo was taken in 2003 after the
building was restored due to a fire that destroyed most of the roof august long
weekend of 2002 whilst Naramata Bistro was in business.

This is the original mural on the far wall of the coffee shop. It is the reason
why our loaded pizza is called The Traindock Loaded. Back in 1997 warf
park looked like this and was called "The traindocks". The mural was painted
by a family friend and was damaged by the fire. LaVonne helped in the process
of restoring the mural but the sky was just never the same!

the street into what is now the clothing store.

After having two children LaVonne and Rocky came up with the plan to build a
house and a pizza place so that they could provide a stable home environment for
their children and make a living in this wonderful community. While building
they found out they were pregnant with their third kid! Phew!
